The Halifax Lebanese Festival 2022 was held from September 16 to 18 at the Olympic Community Centre. Due to lingering COVID-19 pandemic impacts, the festival took on a “Grab & Go” format without live music or entertainment. Attendees could enjoy authentic Lebanese dishes such as shawarma, falafel, za’atar, and baklava available for dine-in or takeout. For every purchase, $1 was donated to Feed Nova Scotia. This 21st edition retained the vibrant Lebanese flavors the community loves, even though the format was different from usual years.
