Experience
Born in Halifax and raised in Vancouver, Karim El-Khoury combined his engineering background with his love of Lebanese cuisine. In 2018, he launched Phoenicia Foods, a start-up that distributes authentic za’atar mixes and olive oil blends to Canadian supermarkets. Today, his brand supplies over 50 stores across British Columbia. Karim often mentors young Lebanese-Canadian entrepreneurs through workshops hosted by the Lebanese Canadian Society of BC, emphasizing resilience and innovation.
