Cedar Whispers
Cedar Whispers is a non-profit, non-political, and non-biased digital home for the Lebanese-Canadian community in Nova Scotia and potentially to all of Canada.
Our mission is to raise the voice of Lebanon while embracing the values of our Canadian home: unity, diversity, respect, and compassion. We aim to create a space where Lebanese-Canadians, newcomers and long-settled, meet, collaborate, and celebrate their shared identity.
Cedar Whispers is a virtual Lebanon, a Lebanese agora, that grows in Canadian soil while carrying the spirit of the cedar across generations.
Festival
Every year, we host vibrant festivals that highlight Lebanese traditions, music, and unity. These gatherings bring families and friends together to celebrate culture and community.
Food
Food is at the heart of Lebanese culture. We share traditional recipes, organize food events, and introduce the community to authentic flavors that connect us to home.
Culture
Our community works to preserve and promote Lebanese heritage, language, and arts in Halifax. Through cultural programs and activities, we keep our traditions alive for future generations.
